Sample Specification:
The silencer shall be a Maxim Model MP-41 Wet Marine 316L Stainless Steel Silencer, with tubing inlet and outlet connections.

MP41 – Marine Engine, Wet Exhaust
Silencer – Expected Attenuation is 30 to 35
dBA

Constructed of 316L stainless steel, the MP41 offers very high noise attenuation in marine
exhaust systems where water is injected
upstream of the silencer.

MP31 – Marine Engine, Wet Exhaust
Silencer – Expected Attenuation is 20 to 25
dBA

Constructed of 316L stainless steel, the MP31 offers very good noise attenuation with medium
pressure drop in marine exhaust systems where
water is injected upstream of the silencer.

MP11 – Marine Engine, Wet Exhaust
Silencer – Expected Attenuation is 15 to 18
dBA
