FPS / FPSE – Full Flow Area Absorptive
Design with Internal Center Panel –
Expected Attenuation of High Frequency
Noise is 15 to 30 dBA

Use for high degree of high frequency noise
attenuation. Use FPS model for intake service;
FPSE model for exhaust service.

FPC / FPCE – Absorptive Design with
Internal Center Panel – Expected
Attenuation of High Frequency Noise is 20
to 25 dBA

Use for medium to high degree of high
frequency noise attenuation. Use FPC model for
intake service; FPCE model for exhaust service

FP / FPE – Straight Through, Absorptive
Design – Expected Attenuation of High
Frequency Noise is 20 dBA

Straight through design with no center panel
offers good attenuation of high frequency noise
with low pressure drop. Use for small
atmospheric vent applications, on blower or
compressor intakes and discharges, and as an
add-on to boost overall attenuation when
installed in series with an M-line chamber type
silencer. Use FP model for intake service; FPE
model for exhaust service
